Adding to this, the picture also displays an intricate and systematic process, which seems to be at the heart of our field.
That being said, this website has been prepared as my EDCI 67000 portfolio. It purports to display how my previous work suffice to meet the academic requirements at both the departmental and program levels. Specifically speaking, it presents a variety of academic and practical productions ranging from projects to papers as well as their corresponding requirements in Learning, Design and Technology Program at Purdue University. These requirements are presented as both department- and program-related competencies. These competencies are listed below showing the author`s understanding of the competencies:

This competency is about having a good command of professional learning, educational, and pedagogical literature by being able to integrate parts of it effectively thereby applying this know-how to practical learning and teaching issues. - Create Knowledge
This competency asks for having a good command of research methodology as well as being able to critically evaluate research and applying its findings to practical learning and teaching issues. - Communicate Knowledge
The competency of communicating knowledge relates to being able to achieve an effective level of written and oral communication as it relates to the content of one`s field of inquiry ranging from creating effective learning experiences to assessing learning outcomes. - Think Critically and Reflectively
This competency refers to being able to critically and reflectively evaluate both broader and field-specific educational theory and practice. - Engage in Professional Development
This competency is related to showing an active involvement in constant professional development thus updating one`s both theoretical and practical insights into the relevant field of inquiry. - Participate Actively in Their Profession
This competency is concerned about being a part of active professional communities of practices in a given field of inquiry.

This competency covers analysis of instructional and performance problems, and designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating appropriate instructional solutions. - Apply Computer-Based Technologies and Media to the Solution of Instructional Problems
